In FFX, on Besaid Island, on the path from the village to the beach there is a section of the path that looks something like this:
(ignore .s, they're for spacing purposes)
1: To beach
2: unknown
3: to Besaid Village

My question is, where does that middle branch go? Whenever I try to walk down it I get turned back by some unknown force(no message, it just turns you around & sends you back out without even changing screens) and I've just started FFX-2 and noticed the SAME place has the SAME effect....what gives? Whats it for in FFX? IS it for ANYthing at all, even in X-2? I'm puzzled & this place been buggin me for a while now...

Mkay 1st posting messed up the map because the message entry box takes stuff a different way than a web browser...it came out all squashed. fixed it best I can lol

do u remember u had to dive off that cliff and jump in the water with all the fishy fishies?! <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> well u come out of there, u end up coming up that path to the Promontory (where ur getting turned away)

pure n simple.. u can't EVER go bak that way :rolleyes:
