Lisa -- even though I am a nightie woman, the polar bear pjs do sound cute. As for washing flannel, I wouldn't think it would matter too much if you washed cotton flannel as long as the water wasn't hot but I sure wouldn't put them in the dryer. As a rule, I never trust anything that's cotton not to shrink in the dryer. In fact, I rarely put any clothing in the dryer whatsoever, only towels, socks, sheets, etc. The dryer just wears things out and shrinks them. How about you?
