Does he seem like he is scratching against the gravel or anything? Is he 'darting' around? If so it may be external parasites. Some clout or something similar should fix him right up! Gideon does swim fast sometimes and he's just sprinting so to speak. So it may be normal or not. Hope this helped a little...
