A keloid is scar tissue gone nuts. It usually happens after a cut or puncture wound and are real common after surgery or ear piercings. I had not heard of one off the nose before, but then nose piercing in America hasn't been around as long as ear piercing. Keloids are always raised and are usually pink to light reddish in color, no matter what your skin color is. African -American's are th most prone to getting them, with Asians a close secone, but any race can. (My brother in law gets them, and he's caucasian). If you have ever seen someone with a "fleshy" lump below an ear that's pierced- that's a keloid. You can't just have them cut off, 'cause that just usually makes the scarring worse. Most treatments begin with cortisone injections and go from there, but you would need to see your Dr. or a dermatologist to be sure. Here's a website w/ some more info.

They've got some over-the-counter suggestions, too. But I would still suggest getting your Dr. to look at it to be sure. Because if this is a keloid, you may want to re-think getting a lot of piercings, because you run the chance of getting a keloid every time you do.
