pretty much exactly what the subject says, I pierced my nose about 4 days ago, and apart from a little bit of blood at the point of piercing, it has been fine. The only cleaning I have been doing is with hot salt water so far. However, today, after a gym session (where I suppose I might have bumped it somehow, though I don't remember doing so), it began to bleed, not profusely, but definitely a steady stream.
I've read that nose piercings shouldn't be bleeding unless they've accidentally been pierced near a vein, which alarmed me somewhat. Though I suppose if that were true it should have been bleeding right from the start?
Basically, is this normal, and what should I be doing if it happens again? Staunch the flow, or wait til it has clotted and then remove the dried blood? I'd appreciate any input.
