I will tell you how it is with me...
as a Buddhist, I do not pray...Not in the conventional sense, but I do meditate, and I do make votive offerings for Good karma to sweep away the bad.... as such, I recite words over a little bowl I have on my personal Buddhist altar...
This bowl contains the names or definitions of people I encounter, on little pieces of paper rolled up into tiny scrolls....
On one of these morsels of paper, I have written, 'My on-line friends on the Bella Forum'...
And I ask for Goodness, Peace and Loving Kindness to sustain, and accompany them wherever and whenever...
And I end my recitation with:
"May this be for all the people they love, all the people they know, all the people they meet and all the people they see."
Which as you will realise, pretty much covers all the bases....!!
So I just wanted you all to know that, even though I may not think as you do, pray as you do or believe what you do, you are all still within my Mind, within my Heart and within my 'prayers'.
