I guess "Quin" could be a nickname for Quintin, but Quin sounds more like a girls name. Well I just looked it up and it is a unisex name (Quin). So both males and females can use the name Quin. I've only seen it used for girls, but I guess it can be for both. Quin means Quintuplet or Fifth, and Quintin means the same thing.
