For Labor Day here is one of my verses:

Time for rest; time for play
We celebrate on Labor Day.

Throughout the year we give our best
We each deserve a little rest.

The days and weeks and years march on
Work well done an unspoken song.

We thank you Lord for giving life
Even when work seems more like strife.

In work we have a chance to show
Our talents perhaps, but surely to grow...

Interrelating and doing our jobs
Helps us remember we’re an important cog.

On the wheel of life we turn and go on
Fulfilled when we say
"A good job we've done."

Hi Everyone, I'm going to take my shower now because I've been in the Amazon today (the humid front yard) pruning once again. Then I'll be sitting for our 8pm cyber group meditation here in Western Europe.

Is autumn coming to your part of the world? A few of my trees are starting to have yellow leaves.

Heading into my 10pm meditation - will meditate on my lovely wood dragon - symbol of creativity and guardian - join me!

As far a ushering in autumn - not quite yet - it is hot during the day and in the 60s at night - finally good for sleeping. Thanks for the heads up on the verse for Labor Day.
