Once the conflict within is resolved, then all outer conflict will cease to be.

All is One.

Burt -

Do you mean that much of what we perceive as "stress" in the world is really traced back to how our brain is handling issues? I would agree with that wholeheartedly.

When Bob and I were kayaking recently, I was looking up at an osprey flying overhead. I then ran right into a dead tree in the water and got tangled in its branches. I could have been stressed. Instead I laughed at how silly I'd been. It was all about my brain and its reaction.

I didn't meditate tonight because my boyfriend was out working late, so we didn't get out to eat until around 10pm. Still, I had a lovely walk through a local forest today, and that was a walking meditation for me. I enjoyed it immensely. It was quite serene.

The conflict between the soul and the ego.

Yes your ego was ruffled when you ran in the branches, but your soul soared with the osprey !! wink !!!

Actually, my ego was delighted when I ran into the branches - I got to be up close with a cool spider! smile

At 2pm I was sleeping I think, and at 8pm I was having a lovely dinner with a friend of mine, to work on my murder mystery novel. So both were meditative smile

Now I'm approaching time for my 10pm meditation. Bob is off spending time with friends. Quiet house. I vote for a bubble bath smile
