For me I think it's that I like soothing sounds, but not songs with words. If there are words I start to think about the words. Or if there are songs with bright, interruptive noises in them, I start paying attention to those.

I'll be able to join you tonight, Lisa.  I will meditate on gratitude and how thankful I am for being a part of this magnificent experience that is life and the unfolding of the Universe. I am sorry for the loss of your parakeet. Ivory was a beautiful bird. I loved the vid you uploaded to your Google+ page. She seemed quite chirpy and happy.

Lori - it is great that we were able to meditate together!
I will miss Ivory. She was happy, warbly, and always at my side all day long. When I ate a salad each day for lunch she'd fly over because she wanted one too. She was just so cute. I will miss her.

Yes, it was so nice. Ivory was blessed to be your companion yet she always will be. When I meditate, my chis always want to sit on my lap. They must like the calm. I felt gratitude for everything during this meditation. The music I listened to was Giovanni Marradi "Garden of Dreams" which is a song that moves me on a soul level. Garden of Dreams
