The ancient Hohokam tribes once occupied land that eventually became Phoenix, Arizona. It is believed that one Hohokam man carved a petroglyph that is the first known North American representation of the supernova.
Has anyone ever seen this petroglyph? It is in White Tank Mountain Regional Park west of Phoenix. I cannot find a picture of it.

Wow! Barentine did some fantastic testing to determine accuracy and authenticity on the Supernova and the petroglyph similarities. Apparently the similarities are remarkable.
I am going to study all the info I can find on this. Very interesting.

Friends are quiet angels Who lift us to our feet When our wings have trouble remembering how to fly They stand by us and give us the strength to try
Friends are quiet angels Who somehow make you see The light that's in the darkness before the dawn All at once the journeys not so long

After supper last night I went out on my patio to watch the sky. The moon was full and bright, playing peek-a-boo from fluffy white clouds floating by, and a little friend was sitting on the curtain top of my railing. A little tree frog. She is only about an inch long.

I took my bead work out on the porch this morning to sit in the sun and work on my pipe bag. I have the beads in a bowl. With the sun shining on them, it makes me think of pieces of the sky and rainbows - gifts for the eyes to behold.
I am debating on what type of edging to put on the bag when I close it. I need some type of border beading on the right side to close it up.
I am thinking of a "zipper stitch" but have never tried that.
Beading is so relaxing for me.

I had another little visitor on my patio last night. He was still there this morning. I managed to catch him and put him in my planter on the railing. He eventually found his way out and down to the ground to wander away. Oscar, I hope you find your haven And may Great Spirit Keep you from the raven.
