It's been sunny in London today, around 38-40 F, but almost no wind. I call it a nice day. It's been snowing elsewhere in England and in Scotland. One weather story warned that in some places it would be "colder than the South Pole". Made me laugh, since it's high summer there. Admittedly, probably still cold, but nothing like the North Pole which remains decidedly colder.
