So... Is the Omaga Ruins the only place to get the No Encounter weapons/armor? I kinda wanted to advoid there, but if thats the only way...

you can make a no incounter armour or get them from killing dark aeons

you can get no encounter armour from the monsters in sin, but really want to fight your way through omega as you level up tremendously. however you may want to go in with at least a couple of legendary weapons. especially yuna and lulu's.

Here's a tip for Great Malboros. Have someone with First Strike and Provoke in your active party. Encounter with Great Malboro. Have First Strike person use Provoke. No more Bad Breath.

Getting the lengendary weapon for Auron is useful to beat the monsters in Omega Ruins, but if you are struggling badly in Omega Ruins, you should train hard enough in Zanarkand so that every monster in Zanarkand areeasy enough for you to beat it in 5 seconds. Getting no encounter weapons in Omega Ruins is not a bad idea, especially if you want to get the treasures instead of fighting monsters (some treasure chests are traps/monsters and they get on my nerves). Anyway in my opinion, it will be a good idea to train in Zanarkand first, and after that try beat sin asap, then Omega Ruins... (or you can train like crazy in Omega Ruins before fighting sin).
Ultima Weapon is not that hard to beat - I guess it has about 100,000hp? (very random guess), but Omega Weapon has surely more than 300,000hp - good luck on beating that beast guys...

i agree quentin the chest that have monsters in them are annoying. however the level 4 keys are very handy. i kept trying to open all the chests but kept finding a fiend, but when I tried opening the chests from right to left there were no fights. it worked for all four sets of chests. is this the way to do it or was i just lucky?

The fiends inside chests are in battles (Mimics). Sometimes when you open the chest there will be a good item like X-potion or Elixir, but most of the time it will contain a Mimic.

Mimic's give you 50,000 gold, and when you have Rikku's GodHand (ultimate weapon) it will give you 100,000 gold, The best way that I know of to get money in the game.

if you open 12 chests and open the right 1 in the omega ruins you will get 99 warp spheres <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> -----------BUT if you save it the count will go to 0 <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

wot do i need to customize confuse proof??? i heard its the hypello potion or sumet like that...
and how do i get the item??? oh and how many do i need and uhm,oh yea,pleasey?? <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
