I am trying to use my mouse - the cursor is jumping all over the place. As I get close to where I need to click, it scoots off the page or somewhere else. I think I did have a windows update - is that the problem? I've looked at the settings but I cannot seem to resolve the issue. Any suggestions?

According to a survey, a mouse jumping around is often related to faulty hardware including the mouse, USB port, and cable. In addition, an outdated device driver, improper touchpad settings, mouse pointer, and even malware are responsible for cursor jumps around.

LOL, I keep returning to settings and tinkering. It's not as bad as it was but I often click on one thing and end up on another line or it doesn't want to go near the "next" button or reply, or a decision tool or as it moves it goes off the screen.
