I was never a Girl Scout as a child. I became involved in it when I signed my daughter up for it 2 years ago. So I am quite new to Girl Scouts, but learned so much from them and am still learning. I lead a troop of first year Brownies that meet once a week. I am looking forward to to a great year with them and have fun activities planned like a car wash, a parade, a visit from our Mayor and incorporating service learning. When I took over the troop it was a bit overwhelming, but the rewards totally outweigh everything else.
