Hi Joy. It went really well. The meeting lasted about an hour+. We began the session by asking if there was anything we needed to review from last month. I encourage the participants to add what they have learned. I do my homework on a new topic. In this case it was how to sign up for Gedmatch and how to use it. We have a question and answer period too.

I'm chair the genealogy committee of our local historical society. DNA is a hot topic now. This is good for me because I wanted to learn more about using DNA in genealogy.

Time to myself which started when I was getting up (i would of waited just a few seconds and could of had my full morning routine in peace).

I need to make a lot of decisions and do a lot of things. I have done that many times in my life and always abandoned but this time I cannot even start, I was supposed to this Autumn and here were are in April and it is still not started. Maybe with a real plan that makes sense and finished I will finally start, when it is started I hope this time I can stick with it and finish because I am forty years old and not getting younger.

Hi Nancy, here's something that really works. Every day do something (no matter how tiny) that takes you closer to what you want to achieve. And if you do that small thing as soon as you get up, i.e., before emails, texts, social media, etc., it won't matter what else happens unexpectedly that day. You will be one step closer to what you want. Joy
