Yesterday it was changing, windy on/off and raining off/on.
At night it was windy.
When I went to bed it was windy.
When I got up it was sunny and windy.

Today started out cool in the upper 50s then rose to 60 with sun, so I got out into the front garden and trimmed the ivy hedge for the last? time this season.

Cooler than it has been, but still mild. The Sun came and went. The leaves are noticeably turning, some lovely trees now. I'm hoping to have time for a quick visit to Kew Gardens before I go away next week. Apparently, around 4.30 there was quite a downpour. Since I had neither raincoat nor umbrella, it was fortunate that I was in a movie theater at the time and it was all over by the time I came out.

Today it is raining - I walked to the market using my umbrella but got home in a dry spell. At least it is in the 50s and not cold.
