Well off course, can have your characters run trough the whole sphere grid, but that'll take to long if you're only there
u should try the aeon overdrive assault, just get every aeon in overdrive and summon them use their overdrive and then just fight with them till they die, and then summon the next one, that should do major damage!
and when the gaurdian starts healin himself with 9999 just use reflect on him and he'll cure your own chars, beware not to use black magic on him xcept if u use reflect on one of yer own chars then use it on him/her
and get your own chars in overdrive to deal the final blows if that is necessery
