Instead of stopping at Starbucks, I bought a coffee at the gas station on my way to work. I saved almost $2.

That sounds like how it works in Ohio as well, Angela. We actually have a Starbucks counter in one of our Kroger stores. During the holidays, they give away samples!!!!

Hi Michelle,
I'm almost next door to you in Wisconsin, but we don't have that grocery store chain in our state. My piano students know how much I love coffee, though, so I usually get gift cards at Christmas (which is great for frugal living!).

Wow! You are close. I am in Columbus, Ohio. Are you a Cheese Head? I don't play piano, but I do play the concert ukulele. We have Kroger, Giant Eagle and groceries in our Walmart and Target stores. I love coffee, too. We play around a lot with those little bags of the flavored coffee. Whatever is on sale.

A branch new Krogrer just opened and there is a Starbucks there now. We have been inundated in supermarkets this year: Food Lion, Martins, Walmart Groceries, Target, Aldis, Whole Foods, Fresh Food or Market, and a Wegmans is now under construction.
