Jana, let's do this meditation together:
Sit in a straight back chair, soles of feet planted on the floor.
Fold hands in lap and close eyes.
Inhale and exhale evenly in a relaxed way, regular breathing. Do not hold breath at any time.
Observe your breaths as if watching them on a playing field while looking on from the grand stand.
When your mind wanders off gently focus again on watching the breaths.
Keep this up as long as you can and then finish by thinking of an appreciation for some aspect of your life.
Open your eyes, stretch out, and enjoy the peaceful feeling.
