How do you prepare your veggies? Do you have a go-to recipe that's a crowd pleaser?

I like to use coconut oil for a bit of a saute -- then sprinkle a bit of kosher sea salt and garlic powder.

I would LOVE to use coconut oil ... but I'm allergic to coconut. I even tried to use it on my hair thinking ... well, what harm would it cause if I'm not ingesting it? WRONG! My face swelled up so badly, I could barely see the next morning. My head felt like it weighed a ton - I was miserable.

Apart from that, coconut oil is a nutritional must!

I love broccoli and kale, and sort of like cauliflower. I did try this recipe once though, and it was pretty good - it was putting cauliflower in a blender with a bit of milk (or cream or something) and blending. Then baking, and adding a bit of butter and salt - it was weird because it was almost like eating mashed potatoes!

And I LOVE coconut oil - Alice I'm sorry to hear you have an allergy to it. I love olive oil in my hair too though.

I like making cauliflower mashed potatoes. A bit of parmesan or a stronger cheese taste like feta is good in them too for a nice change-up.
