My husband has actually started to implement meditation.
Now coming from his perspective, I find it extremely refreshing. He's the more practical of the two. I get a word or a picture in my head and I'm off on a tangent or scribbling down details that go along with whatever's in my head.
I had been hoping he'd apply meditation to any portion, even once a year to see if he noticed anything. He did and he mentioned shortly after a thought prompted him to look something up in terms of a side-job. Basically he took a chance he wouldn't have, had he not meditated. He got it and it's doing what he loves most, writing
In my opinion, dreams and meditating are the threshold where two worlds converge.
