Yesterday it was partly cloudy, snowing on/off and windy.
It was windy at night.
It was windy when I went to bed.
It was mostly cloudy, snowing and windy when I got up.

I loved yesterday, it was a bit warmer and when I walked out at lunch time it was clear blue without a cloud in the sky. Today it's a bit colder, but as I look out the wind there are no clouds. Gorgeous!

That sounds beautiful.
In Chicago, it has been cloudy, even on our mildest days. Today though, the sun reared its head & shone bright.
