I went to the mall - I bought a few tops and slacks. They were more for next fall and winter than now. I used a seat belt cinch that had velcro on it and it put holes in a lot of my tops - in the tummy area. Some of these items were on the clearance rack.

Today, I will have a happy hour special with some friends for a birthday shindig - 3 drafts for 3 dollars each.

I didn't spend any money today but my husband took me out to dinner tonight. My grandsons spent the day with us.

Yesterday I bought some things at the dollar store for my truck - I traded my jeep for a chevy truck yesterday (private exchange off a craigslist ad). Spent $10. I need to return a few things that simply don't fit.

I also had two beers at the local pub.

No expenses today!

Today I paid my satelite bill (179,94$) and my cell phone bill (46,05$.......i always forgot to mention it since its billed on 1 of my 2 credit cards but now that i remembered to mention it here i wont forget anymore).

The past few months I was very careful and I was able to set enough aside to buy something I have wanted since the Olympics (an authentic red jersey of Benny [Jamie Benn])!

Nancy, that is wonderful you were thrifty enough to save for something you really wanted! Good job, lady.

I spent $98 filling up the tank of my new used Chevy truck - yikes. Time to drive less and bike more.

I tried buying it yesterday but it did not go through, at first I got a message about my credit card being denied but the page changed to a blank page with "error!!!" on it so it looked more like a technical issue. I almost went back and tried with my second card but in case in was accepted anyway I decided to wait. Still no email saying that it was done so I will try later, if not tonight then another day (unless i decide that i should not spend that money on that....its really something i want though...i would also look good with it while out..haha).

Today I spent money in three places in Amqui. 5,41$ at Familiprix (my pills), 6,54$ at Dollarama (0,69$ for 12 pieces of Juicy Fruit 2,00$ 2 times for AAA batteries and 1,00$ for a pack of 10 boxes of 40 pocket matches) and 49,44$ for waxing (arms & underarms & half legs).
