I love cottage cheese too - I just got some myself. I'm about to have it with lunch.
Salads are tasty but they don't tend to be long-term filling - so it's good to add some protein of some sort to them. And healthy fats. Those help ensure you stay full. I.e. maybe a plate of cheese on the side or as dessert?

June 30: Breakfast-coffee, doughnut Snack-0 Lunch-Leftover meatballs w/ marinara Snack-0 Dinner-Grilled chicken, fresh salsa, fresh guacamole, a small taste of some fresh homemade bread Dessert-small homemade brownie (guest brought it)

Can't seem to keep the carbs out of my diet--yet. It's always due to lack of preparation and thinking ahead. This shows me that my go-to food style isn't a healthy one.

Snack-0 Dinner-fried chicken (National Fried Chicken Day), 1 biscuit July 7: Breakfast-coffee Snack-popcorn Lunch-pasta w/ marinara, hard salami slices Snack-smoked gouda cheese Dinner-a smattering of appetizers w/ some hard apple cider Dessert-0 (saved the birthday cake for tomorrow!)
