Do you get flashes all the time? I tend to get visions more just as I am awakening although they also happen throughout the day.

Most of the time, they are of people I don't know.

But this morning, I had the most curious vision of a little black and white dog with angel wings. In his mouth, he held a white envelope, an invitation or greeting card, for me.

What do you think of this?

Unfortunately, lol, I get both flashes and visions and dreams. Even w/protection and meditation, have a reprieve of maybe 3-5 hrs a day/sometimes nights.

But the flash you happened to recieve, I'd keep an open mind to 1 or 2 things. My first instinct was, what people call psychic or intuitive-self, is advancing to more than just wherever it is you happen to feel you're stationed. So say a person, felt, their specialty was accuracy w/cards, by the water, w/in Mediumship.

I'd venture to say, you may be able to inter-mingle among our four-legged friends, and that it's welcome, or perhaps you're picking up on someone considering the companionship of a beagle-type dog, smallish and it's more of an affirmation of a Soul-guide (via 4-legged)for that person.

A couple of years ago, a friend of mine lost their pet and wanted a new one, but felt they could never replace that pet, which is highly accurate. I had a vision of just a pet arriving at their door. It was a kitten and I said, "You'll know IT SPECIFICALLY is the one...there will be something quite unusual about this.

Well, about 3 months later a grey long-haired cat showed up at their door-step (sliding glass door). It just sat there and sat there. She went to the door to give it some food and it ran away.

She dumped the food out, defeated w/her sadness. She began to cry over her sink and noticed a glimpse of something outside the door again.

The cat came back! But, this time in it's mouth was a teny-tiny kitten. She told me she just began to sob and fell to her knees. She opened the door and this time the cat dropped the kitten just past the screen door she'd shut instead of the sliding glass door.

From a very early age I have had dreams, some off them are not nice at all, the ones that feature my sons are very disturbing as I cannot call out to them to save them as in the dream my voice does not work.. Just recently I have had many dreams featuring some dearly beloved deceased relatives, what is going on

Oh, I didn't mean accuracy, Elleise. I just meant when do you receive your visions most but you already answered that, too! smile

Actually, the little dog in my dream was strikingly similar to the one we recently adopted from the shelter. I have the feeling that this dog was heaven-sent (aren't they all?)

Two or three days before he came into our lives, I had a dream about our deceased and beloved border collie. I opened the side gate and he was laying there. He got up and came into our backyard. That was it.

My husband said our next dog would be a border collie and while I agreed, I was torn because I had a strong desire to adopt a third chihuahua mix. And I was concerned because chis prefer to play with other chis.

But as I perused the animal shelter's website, I came across a very rare mix between a border collie and chihuahua! It turns out that he is a tri-mix (border, jack russell and chi). My husband is thrilled but I have been less enthused. He is adorable, of course but more Jack Russell-y than border.

The dream gives me the impression that this dog, however, comes straight from heaven bearing a gift of some sort. An invitation? A greeting? I'll be keeping a closer eye on this one for sure.

Until you can learn to control the incoming data, you'll receive everything, including the negative vibrations. frown My dreams ran the gamut of terrifying and evil to blissful and heavenly and everything in between. You can control this over time.

As a mother, your biggest weakness is your children. That is why most mothers experience frightening dreams about their fears concerning their children. No worries. These are not prophetic dreams but merely your subconscious way of venting your worst fears. I also had numerous scary dreams about my children.

Perhaps your deceased loved ones are coming to protect you while you are in dream state...

Tiddywee,

I get the same type of deal and Lori's right, over time, if you'd like to, you can control, at least in part, what you dream.

With family, especially children, there's an almost ethereal umbilical chord which never severs. So you can get the not so great or even wanted info. or simply view from an aerial perspective a course of repercussions they're not quite able to see for themselves...working through their own learning lessons so to speak.

As far as information you might like to have filtered, personally, I kind of leave it to Spirit discretion as far as warnings and happy outcomes, but if you'd like, just put it out there, ask for protection, that you'd like for less information and the peace of mind, though they are our children, each is a Soul with valuable lessons to learn.

Should have gone w/my first reply then. When I read, I pretty much assume I have it wrong and go back and fix and fix again.

The scenario, I have to go back, but w/the cat...the cat that passed, while I was in the woman's kitchen, was part of the vision. It went from that cat to an arrival of a new, specifically kitten. But, many people want the kittens, so that's not that extra-ordinary.

What was synchronistic, was how the kitten arrived. It would be unusual in some manner.

Personally, I feel, Guides can be manifested, physically (as in a person), events (that align), animals (most definitely)!

It sounds the synchronistics to yours are right on target, as usual. It'll be interesting to hear how it unfolds smile

I love this thread!

Anyway, I usually get my visions early a.m. when I am walking. Sometimes I get them while in meditation and quite frequently when I am talking to people.

I do not know the difference between visions and flashes; okay just as I said that, Spirit showed me the difference. I get flashes anytime.

So what of messages? You know, that streaming of signs or words that comes in like a translators' session. When do you guys get those?

Hi Tiddywee

I ditto Lori and Elleise and offer that sometimes our loved ones show up to tell us something or assist with a task at hand.

My ancestors showed up in a meditation to help me get a better understanding of a genetic systemic disease that has been plaguing my family for years.

Just before you go to sleep at night, you have the right to say, "I only want to have dreams that assist me in finding solutions for myself and others." Then, you can feel safe in the realm of these dreams.

This is a great place to express yourself openly while you sift through the muck.

Goodluck.
