Today I am grateful for the little fireplace space heater my in-laws gave us for Christmas, because our furnace went out this morning and it's 16 degrees outside!

I am additionally grateful for a fast response from the furnace repair place, AND a relatively inexpensive bill. The man was so soft spoken and quiet, our cats barely knew he was there, which was much less stressful for them (and for us!) than our usual repair experiences. Heat is back up and running!
