The last time I spent money was on February 5. First for waxing (arms, underarms and half legs...cant afford the rest anymore) then on Magicalomaha (a website) where my mom also got something (i got 3 candles that come with a pendant, a tee-shirt and a sweetgrass braid).

Nancy, that is so great that you are using this thread! This really helps to notice one's spending patterns.

Don't you just love dollar stores?

Angie, that's a great spending day! It's always good to get what we need, and nothing else. :-)

Hi Jilly! When I found that thread a while ago I thought it was a good idea. I like dollar stores. If I wouldn't I would not have a choice to go there anyway since here it's small and the cities that are closest are not much bigger so there are not a lot of stores. I was used to take the bus and the subway and shop in different stores and shopping malls, I also had a job that paid well so I also buy a lot of things while being able to also put money aside.

Today I spent 16,40$ at a drugstore (pills, 1 toothpaste, 1 toothbrush and 1 rubbing alcohol) and 67,83$ at my aesthetician (underarms arms and half legs waxing + a bar of soap).

I spent a few dollars today - Office Max where I purchased some web design software to play with (I need to practice writing my own code); then Dollar General - a couple of items for my grandson's Easter basket and some canned vegetables. The products I really went into the store for were already sold out.

I bought a little piratey-looking skirt and a tank top at Goodwill.

I certainly don't need any more clothes, but I felt a need to get these. I like them a lot, but don't feel incredibly frugal about it. So there we go: I'm not perfect. :-)
