I was wondering if you could share some cultural practices and social expectations of the Filipino people.

I have several friends who are Filipina and I do not want to offend them accidentally!

Cultural practices in the Philippines is a vast field. What or which in particular would you like to know more? would you want to know which are acceptable in Philippine culture but are considered rude in other cultures and vice versa?

For instance, it is fairly common among Filipinos to talk loudly and let out hearty laughter in a party or any gathering especially if they have not seen one another for quite a time. Other cultures would think of this as boisterous behavior, and may even consider it very rude.
