"What do you think I do?"

Yes, indeed she could do that, but that would probably open up further discussion that Jilly may not be comfortable with?

Re: the 'misunderstanding' - no problem. Here's a tip. If you're replying directly to what someone said, click onto 'quote', and use 'reply' for just new responses.

Re: asking people what they think you do, it's great fun as some of the answers can be really funny. People make snap decisions on what they think your life is all about from such tiny pieces of info!

JanetWinslet - You should not feel uncomfortable... In today's economy it is more common than ever to find yourself looking for a job! I have been laid off myself about a month and a half ago. If people ask me what I do, I tell them what I used to do, that I am in between jobs right now, and re-evaluating my career (which is actually true). If they have an interest (in Israel, EVERYONE has an interest), they will then ask you what you would like to do, and a possibly very productive brainstorming session may ensue, during which you get the benefit of an outsider's ideas...
