I have resigned from the Appalachia site here at BellaOnline. I have enjoyed exploring the beautiful Appalachian regions and writing the articles. I want to thank everyone for your support and participation in the forum.

I will still be the editor at the Folklore & Mythology site -- so, I am still going to be a part of this great community.

Phyllis, I'm glad that you're still with us!

We still have the front porch to hang out on, too.

Phyllis, sorry you're giving up the site. I've been enjoying your stories. But glad you're still doing the mythology, as that's my favorite. And if giving up one site means that you're working on other projects, that's great - and I wish you well on them.

Thank you, Mona and Debbie. I will miss Appalachia and the battles during the Revolution and the Civil War. I feel good though that I got the Appalachia site going and really enjoyed it.

Don't forget the back porch is still there to hang out & observe the shenanigans of Granpappy - with a little inspiration now & then. Now where'd he place his XXX jug?

Hmmmm .... wonder where Granpappy gets all his inspiration from? Could it B .... uhmmmm ....

BTW, hurray for all the Back Porchers!

Now, I have a question. Since Granpappy and I moved the Front Porch back over here to the cabin, should I combine the front porch and the back porch into one poster thread? Let me know what all you porchers think about that.

By the by, Beetle, in case you are still wondering.... the jug is under the back porch steps along with Granpappy, who is snoozing away in bliss land.

Oh, I thought that was the hound under the steps.

Quickly reading Phyllis' line above "Let me know what all you porchers think about that.", I thought she was calling us poAchers & I woke Granpappy up for a lil target practice.

Granpappy, how's 'bout putting the cans up here on the porch railing??? No, not your jug!

For crying out loud .... not the jug! And put the cans out yonder on the back fence, I am baking a cake and the noise on the porch will make the cake fall.
