Back in May or so my boyfriend brought me home an organic basil plant from the supermarket. He had needed to buy basil for a recipe and buying the whole plant was cheaper. Odd! So, very cool, it's still growing fine even now that it's November. People had told us the basil would naturally die off, but it seems to be going strong.

Except for black spots.

Any ideas what is causing these?
