My updated amazon rank is now 785. It does seem to fluctuate frequently but in a generally improving trend as I add more reviews.

I am curious to see if I can make the top 500, but it's not as huge a goal as the 1000 was. i really just wanted the validation of the badge near my name. smile

Lisa, the degree and your novels are your big milestone goals and you are almost there! It's so exciting.

In new news on the five year goals, I might be moving to yuma by next summer, in which case the 2017 goal of fixing this trailer won't happen.

My life might be too chaotic for these five year spans of time.

To all or none,

Is it not funny how people lead their lives. Some have 5 years goal, others like me have no goals and live only one nano second at the time.
Both are ok.

Amazon rank is now 759. I will be interested to see how hard it really is to get into the 500. This is fun.

Loong, living for the next nanosecond sounds hard.

It's great to have a priority of educating others! That's a lovely priority.

A five year goal helps you integrate that into your daily life. So what would a goal be related to that? Would you like to write books to educate others? Become a personal coach? Run online classes? What would an ideal way be for you to help educate others?

A five year goal isn't about actually achieving those goals as much as it's about giving a direction to aim the one year goals towards. It's fine if they change! It's normal that they fluctuate. Our priorities change, our life circumstances change. It's good to reevaluate them regularly and see where life is now taking you smile.

I might have a goal involving the guitar for several years and then decide the guitar just isn't for me. That's fine! At least my working on it helped me figure that out, and to move on.

True, and good points, Lisa.

I want to never deal with these noseeums again. I am physiologically sensitive to their chemicals in my bloodstream. Dealing with it each year, for half a year, is really bad for my health and recovery.

I just need to make sure that Yuma, if indeed I go there, is noseeum free.

So it is a big goal of mine to decide where exactly I am going to live, to be noseeum-free, and have my living situation settled for good.

Dear Jilly -

That is an awesome goal, and one that will greatly influence your life's happiness! It's wonderful to have a goal like that.

Hopefully we all end up in life in a place where we are content to live, and that's an important goal to work towards!

I am extremely content where I live now, and would be happy to live here for all my days. I think that's something we should all deserve!

I last looked at my five year goals in March so this is a perfect time to revisit them. They are:

BellaOnline < 30 empty sites
House organized
Native American wedding book complete
earn my bachelor's degree
earn $3000 from romance novel sales
do shoulder press yoga pose
body fat at 18%
play moonlight sonata on piano
play dueling banjos on guitar
have zero messages in backlog

I agree with those goals, and do want to achieve them. I think there's a few goals missing from the list, though, so I should brainstorm about that.

I finished my 10 medieval novels and have them published. I don't want to just stop there. I have another 5 in the works. So one of those new goals should be

Have 15 medieval novels published.

What else? Really, the house organizing is key. The mess wears on me daily. I am working diligently on it.

Maybe that's it for now. I do want to have more medieval books go out.

Have you guys looked at your long term list recently? Does it still resonate with you?
