I heard from a lot of people that green tea with sugar isn't effective enough for weight loss. So, it better to make the green tea without sugar, and it is much effective. So I will like to know your opinions. Please reply...

Very interesting question. I know that green tea is very healthy for us and packed with antioxidants. I understand that there is a chemical in green tea that speeds up the metabolism and burns extra calories and this leads to weight loss. Traditionally, green tea is consumed without any type of sweetner for weight loss. Perhaps some of the forum members have had expeience with drinking green tea to lose weight and might like to share their opinions.

To get ready for summer, I make a pitcher of green tea each day (around 4 cups worth) and sweeten with stevia - or - I use a green tea blend that tastes naturally sweet. I feel it really does help curb cravings (for me), and I do feel like it helps me shed abdominal fat quicker. Cindy P.

I personally drink all tea and coffee without sugar. However, green tea with sugar also tastes strange to me...maybe it's because I'm just so used to drinking it without sugar. I also drink chamomile tea almost daily, and I didn't even risk trying that with sugar.

I drink teas like this and herbals without sugar. My boyfriend enjoyed green tea with a little honey, and sometimes lemon.

I adore Lipton's Green Tea with Lemon Ginseng. It has such a smooth balance of flavors. At a certain temperature, it almost puts me into a meditative state. Lovely!
