I bought a wheat-grass shot. Not nearly as yummy, but hopefully it will contribute to my whole-health goals.

I have not have wheat grass juice since i lived in Boulder. I remember liking the taste.  I bought a half a tank of gas yesterday and then a movie ticket and a couple of beers. That was a spendy day for me. I did bring my own food bars to eat from home, so i saved myself a dinner out.

I bought a 10 foot DC extension cord for my 140 watt inverter. $5 from Walmart - was cheaper than the one on amazon. It works well! For $4, I also went to a thrift store and picked up some used AC to DC chargers for my various appliances. I got ones with different sized plugs. I am putting all my DC items in a cloth bag and keeping them to use in my car, until I get a nice deep cycle battery for my home.

yesterday I bought two inexpensive bottles of red wine. Came to $11 for both.
my friend who brews his own beer said how easy and cheap it is to make his own beverages. I think i might have to start researching that soon!

Isn't it great to have a non-spending day, Jilly? I always feel so "accomplished" on those days. Unfortunately today started with me paying my cable bill, but I started eating leftovers for breakfast at home a couple of months ago instead of going to McD's or stopping at the supermarket for a bagel and soda.
Saving quite a bit of money that way!

The only money I spent yesterday was 50 cents for a bottle of water from the work room at school!
