Pinterest is fantastic in that so many of the images are beautiful. It brings serenity into your world while inspiring you at the same time. I just went there because of this thread and found the *perfect* present for my sister. Amazing

I've read about people who get on there in the morning looking for yummy recipes so they can plan their menus for the day! I signed up for some food oriented boards and they really look delicious.

Here's mine Grace's Pinterest and I'm following at least one board from everyone. I do get a bit stressed about using Facebook and Twitter, but Pinterest looks like more fun to do.

I LOVE pinterest. I am a very visual and creative person by nature so Pinterest is right up my alley I noticed a LOT of food topics get re-pinned.

I honestly do not see any benefits about Pinterest -- not to the original author anyway. Why would people link back to our articles if they can get the images on Pinterest? Also, is it not coming close to copyright infringement if our images (personal pictures and drawings) are put out there for anyone to view and copy?
I want people to come to my articles on my site, not view them on other sites.
Can someone help me to understand what the benefits to us are with Pinterest?
I have read on another site that Pinterest is not such a good thing and diminishes our chances of increasing traffic.

There are too many social sites out there already for my taste. I prefer to limit myself and fill my time with other things besides being on my computer!

Pinterest can get you buttloads of traffic. I'm getting hundreds of visitors a month from there just from other people pinning images from my site.
