Has any one tried an all natural nasal spray
If you have been reading my post about the trouble i'm in with nasal sprays then you know why i'm asking
I have just ordered an all natural nasal spray and praying it will help
I'm trying Seagate Olive Leaf Nasal Spray
Ingredients: Seagate Olive Leaf Nasal Spray homeopathic medicine provides safe treatment of sinus conditions. The spray is formulated and manufactured utilizing only natural ingredients in accordance with strict FDA pharmaceutical standards to ensure safety and purity:

* Olive Leaf Extract (Olea europa): Seagate hand-selects, harvests, and processes their own olive leaves each winter when they have their maximum potency and antioxidant levels. Seagate Olive Leaf Extract
has been recognized by doctors and other health care professionals as a leading alternative antimicrobial
therapy, without the side-effects of antibiotics.
* Baptisia (Baptisia tinctoria) has long been recognized as a homeopathic remedy because of its antiseptic
properties. Its principal applications have been for mouth, throat and tonsil infections, inflammation and
sore throat.
* Grapefruit Seed Extract is a natural antimicrobial ingredient that is widely recognized for nose and throat irritations, and for its use as a natural stabilizer in foods. Certain leading brands of nasal sprays use this ingredient as their only active ingredient at a concentration of 1,000 ppm. Seagate Olive Leaf Nasal Spray has 2,000 ppm of grapefruit seed extract to insure excellent stability and antimicrobial properties.

Applications: Many prescription nasal sprays are composed of chemical ingredients in an alcohol base, which may cause a number of unwanted side-effects. Seagate Olive Leaf Nasal Spray contains only all-natural plantbased edible ingredients that are antimicrobial and can be used for temporary relief for sinus irritations, cold and flu, and sinus fungal irritations.

Any other ideas I'll try any thing to get off over the counter spray

Hi Rosie,

I have been using Sinus Survival All-Natural Nasal Spray for several years. I switched to it after getting off Fluonase. It works well for me. You have to order it online.

Just been following your battle with over the counter nasal sprays - what a nightmare. I did look at some the last time I was in the US as I suffer from severe hay fever. I showed Linda, my wife, the list of ingredients and commented they looked rather 'iffy'!

Linda had tried a spray available here in the UK and promptly lost her sense of smell- think I'll stick to tablets, tissue salts and natural eye cooling methods.

My best advice is never use them (otc nasal sprays)
Over the years besides every thing else i also have lost my sense of smell
Wonder if it will come back?
Ian, stick with what you've been doing, but keep an eye on your blood pressure with the use of the salts
I've been off otc sprays for 26 days today
I'm still tempted to use but I've come to far to turn back

These are the salts I'm talking about , I use them to 'top up' my Cetirizine Hydrochloride, or instead of it if I can. They don't seem to interact badly with any other medication or herbs.

Sherry, Glad your back
The Herbal spray works well, again thanks for the info and the web site
I believe it's 35 days to day I've been off OTC Sprays
I haven't been able to toss them out yet I think I'm so afraid of not being able to breath thru my nose again
Believe it or not I'm still a little uncomfortable i still have people tell me i sound stuffed up frown
The allergies are here all kind of pollen out there
Hope your sinuses clear and you don't get stuffed up
And stay away from the OTC Sprays wink

Glad to hear you are getting better and got the herbal spray. Hope it works for you.
Yes, I agree the allergies are terrible this year. I too sound pretty stuffed up. Another thing I do during this bad time is really watch what I eat. I avoid all refined carbohydrates and simple sugars, and stick mostly with whole grains, fruits and veggies, and lean protein. It seems to help keep the congestion down. Take care.
