I love star gazing also. My view of the sky at night is totally clear of any trees or buildings so I see a lot up there. I often see meteorites (shooting stars) streaking across the night sky.

Looking up at the stars on a clear and quiet night is very peaceful to me.

Actually, Cassie is still recovering from the loss of her beloved and hopefully healing. I have been away babysitting my brother's little doggie.

What have you been up to while we have been away? Hope you have been good and loving as usual.

It has been trying so hard to snow here in the valley, but so far we are only getting rains. Lots of snow up in the Sierras, though. The devastating fire has been put out by our fantastic firefighters and the rains.

I saw the fires on tv Phyllis, and I was wondering how close to you they were coming. I am glad you are doing fine and the fires are under control.

Burt, my Brother. I have been away because it has been a tough couple of weeks. I am sure you know my boyfriend had a major heart attack on the 10th and he died 4 days later. I have had to be strong for his elderly parents. They have no other children. With all of that and the services it has been a bit surreal. I really miss him. He was only 49.

I will be coming back here on the forums again in small doses for a while. I hope you and Connie are doing well. Cherish each other, because one does not really know how long we have together.

Cassie, it is always a good time to sit and chat on the front porch. I got some hot toddy mix. Weather here has been bright and sunny, almost warm during the day, like spring.
