Hello Everyone! Spring is slowly showing itself, especially with new sprouts in my herb gardens. I took some time and hoed around the individual plants and added a few new ones. Spring is also one of the times of year that I increase my meditation practice, in thankfulness for the growing warmth and light here in the Netherlands.
Here is a thought for your daily world peace cyber meditation this week -
Practice makes perfect, and this is true for meditation: the longer and deeper your meditations the more peace will fill your vibration and shine out to others ...
This has been a busy week in my back garden. A neighbor gave me 100 seedlings in peat pots which I've transferred to 3 per 4 inch (10cm) pots and placed in the greenhouse. They are happy campers. I've set up an on-going picture page of their progress here: Summer Garden 2016

This week I was asked some questions about spiritual centers in the USA. Here is an article on Meher Mount and Margaret Craske from my personal web site - Margaret Craske and Meher Baba Miss Craske was my ballet teacher at Jacob's Pillow and at that time I did not know her relationship to Meher Baba. Reflecting, it is amazing how guided our lives are in retrospect.

Happy May Day! This is one of my favorite days of the year. In elementary school we celebrated out on the big field of Severn School with a Maypole dance and arts and crafts, and fun sports such as a 3-legged race. Now, I cherish my time outdoors and today set tomato plants in the ground - yes, in the greenhouse, but yet in the earth. We have a 3 month growing season outdoors, hence tomatoes need the cover for warmth.

On this Memorial Day may we take a moment to radiate thoughts of appreciation to those who have defended their country. World peace is so important to sustain our planet. By meditating as a group we are compounding our energy toward a world at peace.

Another glorious week of sunny and warm temperatures here in north-western Europe. I appreciate every summer day and spend most of it in our gardens and greenhouse. The glass house is mainly to protect against the regular summer hail storms, and also extends our growing season by a couple of months. Our frost free dates are May 15 to August 15.
