WOW! Burt, you've given me a lot to read! I have skimmed through it (I don't have much time available as I'm off in two days) As a Buddhist, I naturally lean towards the traditional Buddhist understanding of Maitreya, and the teachings of the Philosophical Society are familiar to me. So I hear where you are coming from with the Great White Brotherhood, and the Ascended Masters. I have an open mind. I also know that Onealone has had mystical experiences which have involved the names of Maitreya and others. So what you have given here, could well be correct. I am just a simple soul, whose greatest aim in life is 'Do no harm' - to anything or anyone. This has become my 'golden rule', and I try to live the 8 fold path faithfully. I'm working on it! Peace!

Here's your next reading assignment:

A friend of mine recently discovered a beautiful restaurant, spa and bookstore in Old Prague called The Alchemist. People flock to the place to experience its atmosphere of ancient mystery, old books and magic. We are still seeking out the answers to the mysteries of life. One of the greatest spiritual gifts mankind has received is the miracle of transmutation through the Violet Flame. It was the alchemists that first discovered this energy.
Many spiritual seekers are drawn to these Alchemists of old who locked their secrets in coded manuscripts, cyphers, endless experiments and oblique references to mixtures, compounds and attempts to create gold.
These brave men and women documented their ordeal to change base metals into gold. They were laughed at and sometimes persecuted by a dogmatic Church. Now, modern science gives these ones credit for helping to establish scientific principle and methods of discovery. The truth is, that these Alchemists were wiser than they are made out to be, and the transmutation of metals like lead into gold is symbolic of a higher and more noble alchemy � the alchemy of self-transformation.
�Alchemists of all ages have sought the mystical philosophers� stone. Early alchemists pored over minutely ciphered texts and experimented in search of this stone. They sought to decode the mystery of this �stone� which symbolized the transmutation of the lower animal nature into the highest and divine. The coveted philosophers� stone � �the stone which is no stone� � was not physical, but spiritual, and created out of fire.�
According to Neoplatonist alchemists, the philosophers� stone was an unfed flame that would draw their souls upward. The flame engulfed all qualities which dragged the soul down to the mortal realm . In the process, the �hard and refractory materials� in their bodies would be transmuted into a rare and more luminous material. In this sacred experiment, they said the alchemist would become �like the gods�, pursuing �the gold of the wise and not the vulgar metal�.
The higher spiritual path and the transformation of the limited human self into the greater Divine Self was the goal of the most spiritual of alchemists. They sought a way to change the lead of negative human experience into the gold of divine reality. Some of the advanced alchemists did discover a priceless treasure- a spiritual treasure- an unearthly flame of such beauty and transcendence that it�s legend was whispered from one generation to the next. The knowledge of this spiritual flame was kept under strict secrecy.
This rare spiritual energy was seen as a fire of a finer form of matter. This spiritual energy is the Violet Fire or Violet Flame. Alchemists saw it as a shimmering energy with a color ranging from a shimmering light violet to an intense purple flame. Legends have it that the alchemists so fortunate to experience this energy and light pursued the highest paths of self transformation. They taught their chosen students in a direct and hidden lineage in order to protect the sacred secrets from the unworthy. These studies were pursued in the mystery schools and offered only to those student �initiates� who searched for a higher meaning to life, passed their tests and who wanted to serve mankind.
The violet flame is the essence of a unique spiritual light. Clairvoyants and Mystics of all ages have glimpsed a �spiritual spectrum� visible beyond the mundane physical spectrum. This higher spectrum reveals a world of rare light and beauty surrounding and emanating through the physical world. Just as a ray of sunlight passing through a prism refracts into seven colors, spiritual light splits into seven colors, or �rays� � each of which has specific divine qualities. The violet flame comes forth from the violet ray, which spiritual students have been taught contains the qualities of mercy, forgiveness, freedom and transmutation.
The color violet has long been associated with royalty and spirituality. Having the highest frequency in the visible spectrum, violet is at the point of transition to the next octave of light. It was known as the doorway to the heaven world. To the ancients, the color of purple and violet was a means of transcendence and a way into heaven.
Saints and holy ones throughout the ages have seen the violet flame in their visions and meditations. This Violet Flame is a spiritual key for the transmutation of error, sin and darkness. Mercy and forgiveness have even been seen to create a violet energy or light around people. In the twentieth century, spiritual cycles unfolded and the time had come for the outer world to be given the tremendous gift of the Violet Flame.
The awareness of how to use the violet flame was released to the public in the 1930′s through Guy Ballard as Godre Ray King in the books entitled, Unveiled Mysteries and The Magic Presence. Mr. Ballard was taught about this violet flame directly by a spiritual Master named Saint Germain. Saint Germain is an Ascended Master who received the spiritual dispensation to offer mankind the gift of the violet flame. This great Master has served the cause of freedom and sought the benefit of mankind through long ages of history. In this century came the time when the public was offered the gift of the Violet Flame.
Used correctly, the Violet Flame assists mankind in raising their energy from the denser human vibration to the higher energies of love, brotherhood, mercy and transmutation. The Violet Flame can take the records of war, crime, bloodshed, sorrow and injustice and begin to transmute them to a higher reality. The Violet Flame is a spiritual elixir that we can use through meditation, visualization and the spoken word in fiats, statements and decrees.
Try an experiment with the Violet Flame. Listen to the three quarter musical time of the waltz and let yourself feel those emanations. The Waltz is the manifestation of the Violet Flame. Visualize this flame, fill your consciousness, being and world with meditations and decrees of the violet ray. Watch your consciousness change from depression, anger or pain into freedom, love and joy.

I AM the Violet Flame in action in me now.
I AM the Violet Flame to light alone I bow.
I AM the Violet Flame in mighty cosmic power
I AM the Light of God Shining every hour.
I AM the Violet Flame blazing like a sun

Debbie, it is so different - I want to type Cassie - yet, like Onealone says, Debbie is a beautiful name for a beautiful lady.

How is it going with your horses at the stables? I think about this often and pray all goes well for you. You are starting out the year with a wonderful spirit and outlook on life.

What type of horses do you have? The wild horses out here are mostly black or a deep reddish brown with white socks. There are a few very light tan ones. They are all so beautiful. There is one band that will come right up to our car when we stop and they stick their noses in the windows to be petted. My brother's little dog loves the horses and gets so excited. He will kiss their noses and the horses love him.

I am in the process of ordering supplies for my crafts and can hardly wait for the items to get here. I have so many projects to do this year and am anxious to get started.
