Yeah, more than likely it's not going to happen. No doctor in America is going to preform a major medical procedure like that on a girl my age for any other reason than a life-threatening disease. I'm still thinking of having my tubes tied. But that probably won't happen until a lot later either.
I think a Dr would be making the right call to not go through with the hysterectomy. I hope you can find a method that agrees with both your body and your lifestyle, while offering adequate protection against pregnancy. Lots of luck to you! Let us know what happens.
Sam, no doctor ANYWHERE would perform an hysterctomy on a woman any age for any other reason than a very, very serious medical condition. Unless you have the kind of money Michael Jackson had and can buy yourself one, lol.
