MissyT: she was living with him already at six weeks??? Um, she sounds like a leech to me who got in over her head. I think they must have made a sweetheart deal but there is too much work involved with raising the kid and she is pouting. Lack of sympathy over here... unless I am reading your posts wrong, of course.
Whatever the sitch is, she CAN relinquish parental rights and either have family court give baby-daddy full custody or kiddo can go into "the system". Healthy infants get adopted/fostered very quickly in most states. If she really is not fit to be a mother, she needs to walk now before she messes the kid up for good.
Oh and also needs to get her TUBES TIED!!!!
