Affirmations Require Faith and Trust

Creating and repeating affirmations takes faith and trust. We need to believe, first and foremost, in ourselves. We need to believe we deserve the positive change and are capable of making it happen.

Taking things to the next level, we need to believe and have faith in something larger than ourselves. We need to believe that what we are asking for already belongs to us and is in the process of manifesting. In other words, if we ask for something we don�t believe we should � or could � have, we�ve defeated our purpose.

I just got finished reading another great book by Louise Hay and she is a firm believer in doing affirmations!

I'm a firm believer in affirmations and Louise Hay is probably the "queen" of affirmative thinking.

Our brain believes what we tell it, and it's amazing how much negative thinking we feed it every day without even realizing what we're doing. Being mindful, and consciously thinking positive, affirming thoughts can and does work miracles.

If you don't mind me asking, can you give us some "personal" examples of how this has worked for you?

Conquering breast cancer! And allowing myself to receive some very incredible gifts of personal development that never would have happened if I had escaped the breast cancer diagnosis!
