What did you do for yourself today Yvonnie?

Me, I stopped in and got a "sample" of hazelnut coffee at the local store I was passing by while "freezing" my you know what off.

This is the first time I had done this, but at zero with cashflow right now, but felt a need to "warm" up for my trek into my freelance boss's office.

And believe me, I savored every "drop" of that coffee and did not feel guilty for not being able to buy one. I know the ladies understand as I am one of their regular customers when I have the cash.

Angela-

Love, love, love that. Those small things go a really long way.

Yesterday, I took a long (30-minutes), hot shower, before anyone else woke up.

Today, I slept in.

Hi Yvonnie:

My challenge in the mornings are the doggies - love them to death, but girl, when they decide to stay in their doggie beds and allow me to wake up when my daily 5am alarm goes off - is a blessing for me.

But I do give them their attention when they join me in my morning activities as they are my special buddies and I don't want any regrets if one of them dies while I am not at home.

Not being morbid, but I had to learn to not expect folks or pets to be still alive the next time we see them. We have to ENJOY them when we are with them and trust we will see them again. If we don't, we will have no regrets as we did make time for the last time we saw them.

Wish I knew this when I was in my 20's - but I tell my daughter this and it is slowly sinking in as she gets busy and forgets about 53 year old Ma.
