For millions of FaceBook users, the idea of the site shutting down - even temporarily - is a scary thought. Find out who threatened to shut FaceBook down and if it's even possible for the social networking giant to be hacked.
I think that it is for the powers that be at Facebook to worry about. There is enough social media to go around if we miss Facebook for a day or two. You'd think the competition would take advantage of this and start promoting their services for that day now.
Ha! That's funny Vi. I'm not a big supporter of FaceBook, but I sure know a lot of people who seem rather addicted to the site. I know they'll go nuts if the site disappears for more than a minute.

I think my husband is on FB more than my teen daughter on some days. But it has been helpful since we have family all out of town and it is nice to converse with family we don't call or see often when we do visit our home town.
Well, well, well... Facebook was not "destroyed" on November 5th after all. It has been hit hard by majorly offensive spam lately, though. I plan on writing an in-depth article about that soon.
