Yeah, it took me a long time to figure out why my sister-in-law's expensive new bag after their first baby was termed the "push purse". Glad to know it's not just my family members wo can be hyper-materialistic. Crazy.

I first read this post a couple weeks ago and I'm STILL shocked by it. Gotta love those women out there who need a pat on the back and something super expensive for doing something that millions of women do every day. Congratulations ladies, you're officially shallow enough to expect a present for doing something that you wanted to do anyway...

I got two nursing gowns. Do they count as "push rings?" LOL!!

I was just happy to go home. I did not need a ring to memorialize the moment. Memories of our children in the hospital bonding with me are more precious than diamonds... and so are our children.
