My spiritual path has taken me more in the direction of Buddhism, but all things are linked, and I have an open mind. I began my journey, and in fact, was born into the Christian Religion. I walked many paths - a Nun for a short time, then a lay preacher, then student for the Ministry, then for two years, while studying for the ministry I was elected Worship Coordinator of a small Church which was without a pastor.
From here I moved away onto other paths, especially exploring all other religions. My spirit needed to be free, and I felt confined where I was.
I am now a sort of combination of them all - at least, I have taken what I considered 'truth' in all, but most of all, I see our planet, and the Universe as the material manifestation of the Divine Source - which is referred to as God. I see the Divine in everything, even a blade of grass or a pebble on the beach. I feel linked to all - and believe that what effects the smallest part, also affects the whole. We are ONE!
You know, a funny thing, but true. The years of continuous sexual abuse between ages 5 and 7, followed by the destruction of my emotional sanity and my physical well-being for the next 50 years were probably blessings in disguise, because they were the fire through which I came, and from which I was re-formed, spiritually.
Something good can always come out of something evil, if we look for it, allow it, and make it happen.
