Oh Bakas, you read my mind!! and gave me a giggle. OK, W. W is for Width of Fabric. This term is not often used, but needs to be used in instructions, to describe that we cut from selvedge to selvedge whilst using the rotary cutter.
X is for the X Quartet patch which is also called the Flying X patch. It looks like it could find itself into one of my sampler quilts, but not until I finish what I've started. Don't want anymore of those UFOs, do I?
