OK, Pooky, I'm stuck. (BTW wecolme to Bellaonline Quilting!). What is Grain?

H is for Handwork which is my least favorite part of any project.
But also for Walter Hunt and Elias Howe who (separately) developed the first few sewing machines here in the US. I will forever be grateful for their inventions. I hate handwork.

J is for Jennifer Chiaverinni who writes the most wonderful quilt novels.

Hey Toni, I've never read a jennifer Chiaverinni novel. I know they're incredibly popular. Are they good? I am a non-fiction reader most of the time. I honestly don't like soppy fiction. Should I have a go a reading one? Which one would be a good one to start with?

K is for Knots -

Try not to make any in the wrong places. They're really difficult to quilt through.

L is for Loose threads! I recently judged a quilt show and I were amazed how many quilters left their loose threads, just sitting on the quilt. Loose threads - my husband usually leaves the house each morning with at least 5 loose threads on his pants!! Loose threads are one of the hazards of quilting.LOL
