Oh! Francine, we were waiting for your Rumtopf. I did not get a chance to start mine this year. I am going shopping tomorrow and will see what fruits are available.
I wonder if Jilly ever got her root cellar dug. I will have to check with her on that. I can so imagine us all sitting in the root cellar with ice cream and Rumtopf and making plans for even more gatherings there. Hey! it would be fun to have a Rumtopf gathering in your lovely castle, too.
